Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. - Iota Rho Chapter

PHI BETA SIGMA Fraternity, Inc., an international organization of college and professional men, was founded in 1914 at Howard University and has as its principles, Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service. These principles are exhibited by the fraternity motto, "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity."

The "Immortal" Iota Rho Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on June 8, 1978 at the University of Central Florida (then Florida Technical University). The charter members were Brothers Eldridge Cheeves, Kelvin C. Forde, Bruce L. Handley,
Ricky L. Jones, Gary L. Thomas, and Samuel Tolliver.
