Jack LeFlore Memorial Scholarships

The Winter Park Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., a national African-American service organization founded in 1911, will provide up to three $1,000 scholarships and four $500.00 scholarships, targeting male high school seniors who are either black or of African-American descent and beginning college during the 2009 fall semester.
All candidates must answer the following questions in order to qualify for a scholarship. All applications received must be typewritten; double-spaced and additional sheets of paper are permitted.

In order to be eligible for this award, meet the following requirements by April 15, 2009:
Completion of the attached application
Completion of a written essay addressing the applications questions
Submission of one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or minister
Submission of an official transcript
A current publishable picture of yourself
